Why Livestock?
Dreaming of your own milk, eggs or meat while collecting luxurious cashmere, hard-wearing wool and sturdy leather – then our livestock is for you!
Productive.
Our livestock has been specially developed to thrive in the domestic setting, reducing the animals to a more manageable scale.
We’ve worked hard to ensure that every part of our livestock is productive. Our livestock produces an improbable quantity of excrement which can be used for mulching or as a clean-burning solid fuel.
Easy.
We’ve worked hard to make life easier for you. Highly trained and experienced farming technicians are available at the touch of a button to help out in challenging situations. Our sheep self-moult in a single fleece twice yearly. Timing can be adjusted via your ascension device. All of of our milk-producing stock can be milked manually or trained to use the self-milking unit.
Efficient.
Our cutting edge and patented FURTOSYNTHESIS technology harmonises plant and animal respiration to allow nutrient uptake via carbon dioxide in the air. This massively reduces required food intake and lowering your costs and increasing efficiency.
Why Livestock Now?
The European Federation Directive on Domestic Pets (21 EFR Part 11, 3100):
All animals kept under human control must be considered productive. Specifically, animals must contribute to resource/textile production, food production or finance for the household. Non-productive dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, enclosed fish, rats, mice, etc. will be considered prohibited from 2125. FORM-21EFR-P11-798 may be completed to apply for a license for a working cat or dog. Provision of a working animal license will be a performance based accreditation and the animal must display the requisite abilities to carry out the tasks stated in the FORM.

Complementary Foods for Livestock
RitheTM fast growing grass seeds
Exclusive to ConsumerFarmer, a one metre square mat of our RitheTM grass is sufficient to feed any one of our livestock. This is an improved variety which the average person can no longer hear growing, yet it defies any reasonable expectations where grass is concerned. It can grow up to 30cm every 6 hours during the brighter season (with a maximum height of 2 metres) but will not spread outside the growing area. RitheTM grass should be fertilised monthly with RitheTM feed granules or solution.
Complementary food for livestock
In addition to enjoying roof moss and lichen (and breathing in some delicious carbon) our roof goats also enjoy a good feed of Happy Goat Nuggets to spice up their lives and produce the best possible milk.
Likewise, while your sheep will do very well on RitheTM grass and air, a handful of Chirpy Sheep Pellets each day will keep your animals and their milk in tip-top shape.
Keep your cows in fine fettle and flying form with our ever-popular Fettle Cattle Nuts, a great way to top-up on essential vitamins and minerals, especially during the darker season.
Our hens will happily pick at kitchen waste, but we recommend a daily top-up of Hearty Hen Feed to maintain high omega and vitamin D levels in eggs.
Self Milkers.
Our self-milking units are suitable for cows, goats and sheep. Neat, hygienic and self-cleaning these units offer a stress-free milking experience for your livestock. Fully automatic, the milker recognises an individual animal to personalise each milking event. Ultra-fast pasteurisation, homogenisation and cooling are built in and easily connected to your kitchen storage units. Animal health and milk yield are fully monitored by your ascension device.
High Rise Hen Houses.
Designed especially for smaller gardens and yards, our High-Rise Hen Houses are available in Irish Round Tower, Helter-skelter and Ballymun Flats High-Rise designs. The High Rise Hen Houses maximise hen headcount, hen health and hen comfort, resulting in highly happy hens. All models are equipped with egg monitoring and pneumatic egg conveyance directly to your kitchen or collection location. Hen houses come with a laser safety coop as standard to protect your hens from any unwanted visitors.
